Patient beyond expectation through a lengthy and grueling cross-country move for this military family that included a new baby and four animals. Coming in from out of town, she set three full days of showings for us over a weekend, and conducted numerous video showings when we weren’t able to be in town. Showings were sequenced for efficiency, with requisite materials prepped for each showing. Heather was willing to keep at any pace that we wanted and was unhesitating in traveling to meet us. She was particularly keen on the VA loan process and implications. We submitted offers on two homes prior to the one we settled on. Finally, her trove of reliable local contacts allowed us a starting point for shopping related services necessary throughout the process. An easy recommendation for us.

We got started looking for a home a year before we ultimately closed, and Heather helped us figure out our needs/interests, narrow down our options, and ultimately commit to a new construction condo. Heather Raph is an excellent realtor who is very professional, responsive, and communicative. She is a great listener who will determine what you want most out of your experience with her, and will offer her professional opinion in a way that is helpful, and never pushy.
We wanted to get our house on the market quickly due to a cross-country move. We had little time to prepare our home for market and were a little concerned about the summer slow-down. Heather reassured us with her understanding of the local real estate market, what buyers want, and her willingness to work within our limited, and initially, confusing timeline.
Heather did the research, provided us with different perspectives on what might work for the market, but of course, ultimately left it up to us to make a choice we were comfortable with.
Heather did a thorough job in marketing our home, from coming soon announcements to open house, and had great pictures and videos taken.
Heather also kept in close contact with us, letting us know immediately any changes in status, as well as handling the process digitally when possible, which was beneficial since we were still living in a hotel at the time. She worked well with us, negotiated strongly for us, and handled various issues that arose quickly. Despite being across the country, her handling of things made it feel like she was down the street.
Our home was under contract in about a week and went to closing in less than 30 days after contract.
Heather Raph is very personable, dedicated, and knowledgeable and has a strong work ethic. I would recommend her without hesitation, and would love to work with her again if we are buying or selling a home.

We found Heather Raph after our on line search. She was simply great with us from start to finish.
She sold our house in the Northern Virginia while leading us through negotiations. She ran multiple open houses and always was there on time and keeping us informed. And, she represented us when we bought our new Condo in Loudon County.
Our new house search was tough in a lean market, and honestly we were not in a hurry. But she traveled all over 4 counties with us on our buying search including a few gravel roads in Winchester, where I had to take my Grand Cherokee. When we went out of state in Maryland, she made sure we had a professional representative to take care of us there.
We closed our old house in e few short weeks and closed on our new house one week later. The first closing date was at the buyers request to allow them time to PCS in. Heather is from a military family and knows what active duty and retirees like us need. She has a team of people she trusts to support her, and us. It includes has a strong real-estate team, and also KEY connections like: firms for closing, out and in, getting tough questions answered on issues like well inspections, scheduling house inspection professionals, steering us to shredding and hazardous household waste disposal, getting us radon remediation at the last minute, and emergency washer dryer removal during closing. All of which happened to us. In short, she is agile, and professional from start to finish.
We will be using her again on our second purchase coming up in a few months. So whether you are a military family or not, Heather Raph is strongly recommended by this family. She's a competent, trustworthy, and fun person.
